Milwaukee Wisconsin Tourism

OFFICIALS OF A TOURISM ENTITY in Milwaukee are still looking for a new president and CEO for Visit Wisconsin.
One hundred candidates applied but nobody stood out.
Visit Milwaukee’s top exec and Milwaukee attorney Frank Gimbel reportedly said seven candidates were interviewed.
“Some people fell out because of lack of interest or other things,” said Gimbel. “We didn’t want to be forced into taking table scraps.”
The initial search produced “some impressive candidates,” Gimbel said.
“But there wasn’t what we considered a total candidate,” he said. “We want some new creativity.”
That’s what Milwaukee’s about.
The only requirement Madison has for a job in Wisconsin politics is to be a political hack and know where the nearest golf courses and gin mills are located.
